Can a family member apply for a passport on my behalf?

A family member can submit an application on your application on your behalf but each applicant over 18 must complete the application themselves and have it appropriately witnessed.

Please note that for confidentiality reasons, any follow up queries on the application will be directed to the applicant and not the family member who submitted the application.
