The Government of Ireland is committed to strengthening the international Irish community and its relationship with Ireland. To support Irish communities abroad, the Emigrant Support Programme (ESP) provides funding for organizations dedicated to celebrating Irish culture and heritage, addressing the evolving needs of Irish emigrants, and supporting intergenerational links between the older and younger members of Irish communities. Organizations with projects that have a clear and identifiable impact on building global Irish communities are welcome to apply. Please be aware that applications for ESP funding for 2019/2020 will open on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 and close on Wednesday, 20 February 2019. Late applications will not be accepted and the deadline will be strictly adhered to.
