We work with the British Government, the Northern Ireland Executive and with civil society to foster reconciliation and develop opportunities for North-South co-operation. Through these efforts, we consolidate the achievements of the Good Friday Agreement and ensure that this island can reach its full potential.

Commemorations

A number of important events in Ireland’s history took place in the period 1912-1922. Centenary commemorations for these events are being organised in Ireland and overseas.

British-Irish Relations

The British and Irish Governments enjoy a strong partnership that supports reconciliation, recovery and prosperity, not just in Northern Ireland but across both countries.
